Study Music Theory is an educational tool for physiotherapy students. It provides gamified revision content covering musculoskeletal conditions including assessment, special tests, differentials, pathology, management, and clinical pearls. It is built by a qualified NHS physiotherapist.
We work hard to make the content evidence-based and accurate, citing sources where relevant (e.g. Hegedus 2012 for special test diagnostic accuracy). However:
You may use Study Music Theory without an account. If you choose to sign in via Google, you are responsible for keeping your Google account secure. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. One account per person. You can delete your account at any time — see the account deletion page.

The Study Music Theory app, its name, branding, UI, lesson structure, quizzes, and written content are copyright © 2026 Study Music Theory. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works based on this content without written permission. You may take personal screenshots for your own revision use.
Study Music Theory uses Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore) to handle sign-in and leaderboard sync. Your use of these services is also governed by Google's terms at policies.google.com/terms.
Study Music Theory is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may take the service offline for maintenance or retire it entirely with reasonable notice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Study Music Theory and its authors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the service. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, loss of revision progress, loss of professional opportunity, or any damage arising from reliance on educational content.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
